This App Notice describes what is specific to Pocket Dominoes. It supplements, and does not replace, our master Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which govern your Pocket of Games account across all of our apps. Where this notice and the master Privacy Policy differ, the master Privacy Policy controls.
Account and Sign-In
Pocket Dominoes uses Firebase Authentication for account sign-in. Your account is a single Pocket of Games account that is shared across all of our apps, including your In-Game Token balance. See Section 4 of the master Privacy Policy for how cross-app account data is handled.
SDKs and Data Collection
Pocket Dominoes has a minimal data footprint. It includes only:
- Firebase(Core, Authentication, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging) — account sign-in, crash diagnostics, and push notifications.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)— to serve and measure advertising.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)— to obtain and record advertising consent where required.
Pocket Dominoes does not include the Facebook SDK or Firebase Analytics. Product analytics are first-party: gameplay and progression events are sent to our own servers rather than to a third-party analytics provider.
Device Permissions
Pocket Dominoes does not request camera, photo-library, microphone, contacts, or precise-location permissions. If you grant push-notification permission, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your device a push token used to deliver notifications. You can revoke that permission in your device settings at any time.
Advertising and Tracking
Pocket Dominoes shows ads through AdMob. On iOS you may be asked for App Tracking Transparency permission before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used; on Android the advertising identifier (AAID) is used where permitted. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, the Google User Messaging Platform asks for your advertising consent on first launch, and your choice controls whether advertising identifiers are shared with advertising partners. See Sections 10 and 12 of the master Privacy Policy for details and opt-out paths.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Pocket Dominoes offers optional in-app purchases, including token packs and an auto-renewing Premium subscription. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your card details. We do record which product you bought, the store transaction identifier, and your entitlement status, so your purchases and subscription work across your devices. Ads are not shown to Premium subscribers.
Children
Pocket Dominoes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The app's store age rating is set in the Apple App Store and Google Play. See Section 6 of the master Privacy Policy for our children's-privacy commitments.
