Pocket of Games LLC ("we," "our," "us," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our mobile applications and services — Pocket Cassino, Pocket Sudoku, Pocket Solitaire, Pocket Dominos, and any future apps we publish (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
We collect information about you in the following ways:
- Information You Provide Directly: When you create an account, sign in, or contact us, you may provide information such as your email address, username, and other account details.
- Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access our Service, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Information: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Service, including gameplay data, in-game transactions, features used, and timestamps of your activities.
- Location Information: We may collect approximate location information based on IP address or device settings if you permit it.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember preferences, and understand how you interact with our Service.
- Profile Avatar (Pocket Cassino only):If you choose to set a profile photo, you may take a new photo with your device's camera or select an existing photo from your photo library. We use the selected image solely as your in-app avatar; we do not extract, analyze, or use the image for any other purpose. You can change or remove your avatar at any time in the app settings.
- Push-Notification Tokens (Pocket Cassino only): If you grant push-notification permission, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your device a push-notification token that we use to deliver in-app and promotional notifications. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device's notification settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Creating and managing your account
- Processing transactions and sending related information
- Sending transactional and promotional communications (with your consent)
- Analyzing usage patterns and trends to improve user experience
- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud and security issues
- Complying with legal obligations
- Personalizing content and recommendations
- Displaying your profile avatar in-game, on leaderboards, and in social features such as friends lists.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the third-party service providers listed below. Providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. The specific providers used vary by app — the table below summarizes today's integrations.
- Pocket Cassino: Firebase (core, auth, analytics, crashlytics, cloud messaging) for backend services and crash reporting; Google AdMob for advertising; Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising-consent collection; Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and Facebook Login for authentication; the Facebook SDK for related social and analytics features; Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases.
- Pocket Sudoku: Firebase (core, auth, crashlytics) for backend services and crash reporting; Google AdMob for advertising; Google UMP for advertising-consent collection; Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases. Sudoku does not currently use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or Facebook services.
- Pocket Solitaire and Pocket Domino: Firebase (core, auth) only as of the current release.
- All apps: the Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution, account authentication, and where applicable in-app purchase billing.
3A. Subscription Billing Information
If you start an auto-renewing subscription, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google receives and processes your payment-instrument information; we do not. We receive from Apple or Google a transaction record and subscription state — for example, the product identifier, the renewal date, and whether you are in a free-trial or grace period. We use that information to grant or remove subscription benefits, to detect billing problems, and to support you if you contact us. We do not use subscription state for advertising purposes.
4. Pocket of Games Account and Cross-App Use of Information
A single Pocket of Games account spans all of our applications today, including Pocket Cassino, Pocket Sudoku, Pocket Solitaire, and Pocket Domino. Personal information collected through one Service may be used to provide, secure, personalize, and improve every other Service, and to manage your account-level In-Game Token wallet and any account-level subscription.
- Your account credentials authenticate you in any app.
- Your In-Game Token balance is shared across apps.
- Subscription status tied to an "all-apps" subscription is recognized across every app.
- Server-side tables in our pog_api backend — including subscription state, token-wallet state, friendships, referrals, and reports — are maintained per Pocket of Games account, not per app.
We do not sell information about which of our Services you use or how you use them.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by visiting our account deletion page.
6. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. None of the Services are designed for or marketed to children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@pocketofgames.com. We will promptly delete the information and terminate any associated account.
For users between 13 and 17 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher), a parent or legal guardian's consent is required to use the Services as described in our Terms of Service. We honor the rights of parents and minor users under California Business and Professions Code §22581 (the "Eraser Law") and similar state laws governing minors' data, including the right to request removal of content the minor has posted.
While our Services are not directed to children under 13, we recognize that some apps may currently carry an App Store age rating that is below this minimum. We are reviewing those ratings and adjusting them where needed to align with this Section. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used a Service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent for data processing
To exercise these rights, please contact us at contactus@pocketofgames.com.
9. International Data Transfers
Pocket of Games LLC is headquartered in the United States. When you use the Services, your information is processed in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate.
For transfers of personal information of individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries that have not received an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (the "EU SCCs"), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner's recognized mechanisms, as applicable. We may also rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where our service providers participate in those frameworks.
You may request a copy of the safeguards we use by contacting us at privacy@pocketofgames.com.
10. Cookies, SDKs, and Tracking Technologies
10.1 On our website (pocketofgames.com)
Our website does not use cookies, web pixels, advertising tags, or third-party analytics. We do not run trackers on the website. The website does not store information about your visit on your browser other than what is strictly necessary for the page to render correctly.
10.2 In our mobile apps
Our mobile apps use software development kits (SDKs) from Apple, Google, and (in some apps) Facebook to operate authentication, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and push messaging. The specific SDKs used vary by app:
- Pocket Cassino: Firebase (core, auth, analytics, crashlytics, cloud messaging), Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, Facebook Login + Facebook SDK, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising-consent collection, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Billing.
- Pocket Sudoku: Firebase (core, auth, crashlytics), Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google UMP, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Billing. Sudoku does not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or the Facebook SDK.
- Pocket Solitaire and Pocket Domino: Firebase (core, auth) only as of the current release. No advertising or analytics SDKs are present.
Each SDK may collect device identifiers, the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android, where permitted), IP address, and usage information necessary for the SDK's function. See Section 3 for the recipient categories.
10.3 In-app advertising consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
For users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, the apps that serve advertising present a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent prompt on first run, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR. Your consent choices control whether personalized advertising is shown and whether advertising identifiers are shared with advertising partners. You can change your choices at any time from the apps' in-app settings.
10.4 iOS App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework requires us to obtain your permission before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. Where Pocket Cassino or Pocket Sudoku asks for this permission, your choice controls whether the advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared with advertising partners. You may grant or revoke this permission at any time in your iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
10.5 Android advertising identifier
On Android, you may reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
